MY BOND WITH GRANDPARENTS
Essay writing competition
On the occasion of World Senior Citizens Day, Rotary club of Puttur Elite, the sponsor club of the Spandana Interact Club of Sudana Residential School organised an essay writing competition on the topic "My Bond with Grandparents"
The competition was organised to mark the significance of the day and to encourage students to understand the importance of respecting, caring and values our elders while recognising the special role of grandparents in our lives.
Adolescent Wellness Awareness Programme for Girls
Sudana Residential School in association with Rotary Club of Puttur Elite and Spandana Interact Club organised an informative “Talk on Adolescent Wellness for Girls” on 27th August 2026 at Edward Hall Sudana Residential School.
The programme was conducted for girl students of Classes 5 to 10 with the aim of creating awareness about adolescent health personal hygiene physical and emotional changes during adolescence and the importance of developing healthy habits and self-confidence. Dr. Sulekha Varadaraj Adolescent Health Consultant Puttur was the resource person for the programme.
She interacted with the students and provided age-appropriate guidance on various aspects of adolescent wellness.
SPANDANA INTERACT CLUB
Saplings were planted at Sudana Residential School in association with the sponsor club, Rotary Club of Puttur Elite and the Spandana Interact Club of Sudana promoting environmental awareness and encouraging students to contribute towards a greener future.

Installation Ceremony of Spandana Interact club, Sponsored by Rotary Elite 3181,Zone 5 was conducted on 28th July. Rtn.Adv. Mohd Shakeer was the installing Officer, Chief Guest ,Rtn. Abdul Razak Kabakakars, Assistant Governor 3181,Zone 5,Guest of Honor Mrs.Shobha Nagaraj, Headmistress were Present.
Intr. Prapthi U Shetty of Std.10th as the President and Intr. Anagha U of Std 9th as the Secretary were induced.
A TALK ON BONE AND JOINT HEALTH
An awareness program on bone and Joint health was jointly organized by Sudana institutions, rotary Elite and Interact Spandana at Sudana Edward Hall on August 15th ,2025, for the staff of Sudana Institutions. Resource Person Dr.Nagashree Vasudeva delivered a talk on bone density, maintaining bone health, lifestyle and medical aid, using examples in a power point presentation.
